Welcome to 1st Learn to Drive (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website (www.1stlearntodrive.com) or enrolling in our driver education programs, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Enrollment & Eligibility

• Age Requirement: Students must be at least 15 years old to enroll in our teen driver education program.
• Permit Requirement: A valid learner’s permit is required for all behind-the-wheel training.
• Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate personal details (name, contact info, permit/license number) during registration.

2. Payments & Refunds

• Fees: All course fees must be paid in full before the start of classes unless a payment plan is agreed upon.
• Teen Refunds:
o Cancellation prior to orientation begin of enrollment.
o No refunds after orientation after classes begin: No refunds, but credit may be issued for future classes or some special circumstances.
o No-shows for scheduled drives: No refunds or rescheduling without 48-hour notice.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Student Cancellations:
o Drives: Must cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the session.
o Classes: Notify us 48 hours in advance for rescheduling.
• Instructor Cancellations: If we cancel due to weather, illness, or emergencies, we will reschedule at no extra cost.

4. Attendance & Conduct

• Punctuality: Late arrivals may result in a shortened or canceled session (no refund).
• Behavior: Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful conduct may lead to dismissal without a refund.
• Substance Use: Any student under the influence of drugs/alcohol during training will be removed immediately.

5. Driving Safety & Liability

• Insurance: We carry commercial insurance, but students/parents are responsible for any damages caused intentionally to the vehicles.
• Accidents: In the rare event of an accident during instruction, we except students and adults to first submit health insurance needs through their health insurance provider and our auto policy insurance will cover vehicle damages per policy terms.
• Health & Fitness: Students must disclose medical conditions (e.g., seizures, vision impairments) and any diagnosed dyslexia, shy, spatial awareness deficit, anxiety, neurodivergence, autism spectrum and Aspergers.
 

6. Intellectual Property

• Materials: All course content (videos, handouts, quizzes) is copyrighted and for personal use only.
• Prohibited Use: Sharing, reselling, or reproducing our materials without permission is strictly forbidden.

7. Website Use

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Prohibited Actions:
o Scraping, hacking, or disrupting the website.
o Posting false reviews or spam is strictly prohibited

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Indirect damages (e.g., lost opportunities) from using our services.
• Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., website downtime).

9. DMV Compliance

• The records are viewed by the Oregon DMV and ODOT, but students are responsible for verifying eligibility for permit and licensing.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of changes.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Oregon law. Disputes will be resolved in [County Name] courts.
