Driver Ed Behind-the-Wheel Series

Driver Ed Behind-the-Wheel Series

This series is designed to encompass all of the aspects of a traditional driver education course with one slight exception. Students study the textbook and materials on their time. Since this program does not include a classroom component, we recommend this series for students who are motivated self starters that learn well at their own pace. Full Course Description:

Students will be responsible for reading and completing assignments prior to each behind-the-wheel lesson. The 10 module course introduces students to driving concepts and specific skills that they will learn hands on during the behind-the-wheel lessons. During the 4-6 week series, students will be forwarded at home practice assignments to prepare for their next lesson. There will be a total of four 2 hour drives each corresponding to the lessons in the text.

Vehicle awareness and control are essential to mastering other skills along the way. This series starts by building a strong foundation for new drivers. We begin in a parking lot and in residential areas. By the completion of this series student drivers will be introduced to more complex roadway environments. Contact us if you have any questions.
